Understanding Wrought Iron Work:
Draw one-to-one after taking actual measurements.
Sample of the drawing is one-to-one according to the approved drawing.
Royal Iron's Work Method:
We strive to satisfy our customers because our primary goal is customer satisfaction with the product. We always aim for continuous progress and development in manufacturing methods and increasing the efficiency of our skilled blacksmiths.
We sell by meter to contractors and building owners, protective windows, balconies, fences, internal and external doors, a large variety at wholesale prices with or without installation, with clear technical specifications.
Manufacturing Method:
Approving Sample from the client
After approving the sample, the rest of the work stages are completed, and then the iron works are delivered before painting completely.
Executing wrought iron shapes is a manual and collective work that depends on each individual's skills, tools, and modern equipment while having knowledge of engineering principles and precise calculations. Through our many years of work, we have met many blacksmith craftsmen whom we respect and appreciate their work and dedication. Our opinion is that any blacksmith can cut iron rods and weld them into simple shapes, mostly straight. You will notice that most of their workplaces are equipped for simple works with small workshop spaces and simple tools. However, wrought iron shapes and designs require special and modern tools, different skills, engineering principles, drawing, heating iron, precise calculations, and it is difficult to find all these skills in one blacksmith. In other words, it depends on the blacksmith's actual ability to possess the skills, tools, and execution capabilities rather than his desire to execute. Anyone who thinks otherwise should prove to himself that he is dealing with someone capable of producing wrought iron by following these steps: Ask the craftsman to draw the required shape in actual size according to the actual dimensions agreed upon, as shown in the picture and product drawing.
If he cannot draw in actual size, ask him to execute one unit (one balcony unit, one window unit, one door leaf, or one meter of the staircase) as a sample to ensure his ability to execute the required shape in harmony with the actual dimensions of your site, as in the picture of the door leaf at the bottom of the page. Ask him to show you his workplace, space, tools, and equipment, and make sure there is a heating furnace necessary for heating and shaping iron. If he refuses, know that you are dealing with someone with modest experience and tools, and the best he can make is shown in the picture below from a straight iron shape filled with symmetrical shapes, and he may use thick iron cuts to sell the product by weight. Therefore, you should pay a small deposit to ensure you are dealing with professional wrought iron craftsmen and not deceive yourself expecting professional work from a simple worker. You should know that you will be drawn into an unclear agreement that does not specify the total price of the product, and you will end up paying a higher financial value for a large amount of iron by weight in exchange for his work.
Types of Iron Rods Used in Egypt for Wrought Iron Works:
The first type is long iron rods produced by factories with old methods and machines, called long because the rod length is not fixed; it can be twice, thrice, or five times depending on manufacturing conditions, and the dimensions and ends of the rod are irregular. The price per kilo is about 30% lower than the price per kilo of unified iron.
The second type is unified iron, produced by factories with modern methods and machines, called unified because the rod length is fixed at six meters, and the dimensions and ends of the rod are regular. The price per kilo is about 30% higher than the price per kilo of long iron.
